Drive Times From the Depot
Off-peak drive times from International City. Add 20 to 40 minutes between 07:00–09:30 and 17:00–20:00 on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and the E311.
What Happens at the Depot
Every van returns to International City between hires. It is washed and sanitised to food-transport standard, the refrigeration unit is run down to setpoint and the pull-down curve checked against the previous log, door seals and strip curtains are inspected, and the IoT temperature probe is re-calibrated before the vehicle is released again. That is why a van leaving us is already at 0°C rather than cooling down on your first load — a warm box takes 30 to 45 minutes to reach temperature, and that time comes out of your delivery window, not ours.
The depot also holds the standby fleet. If a compressor faults mid-route anywhere in Dubai, a replacement van leaves International City and reaches most of the city within two to four hours, pre-cooled, so a load can be transferred without breaking the chain. Spare units are staged overnight during Ramadan, Gulfood and the December event season, when demand routinely exceeds normal fleet availability.
Collecting From the Depot vs Free Delivery
Delivery and collection inside Dubai are free on every rate, so most customers never visit us. Self collection makes sense in three cases: you want to inspect the vehicle and refrigeration unit before committing to a monthly contract, you are swapping vehicle class mid-hire, or you need a van outside normal delivery scheduling and can get to International City faster than we can get to you. Bring your Emirates ID or passport copy, a valid UAE driving licence for each nominated driver, and the trade licence if the hire is in a company name. Handover takes about 20 minutes including the temperature-log walkthrough.

Our depot is in International City, Dubai, with direct access to Ras Al Khor Road and Al Awir Road. It is roughly 10 minutes from Al Aweer market, 15 minutes from Ras Al Khor industrial, 20 minutes from Al Quoz and 35 to 45 minutes from Jebel Ali off-peak.

Do I have to come to the depot to collect a chiller van?
No. Delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free and included in every rate, and vans arrive pre-cooled to your setpoint. Most customers never visit the depot; the site exists for inspections, self-collection and vehicle swaps.
How fast can a van leave the depot?
A standard 1-ton or 1.5-ton chiller van can usually be on the road within four hours of a confirmed booking during depot hours, and within about two hours for emergency replacements. Pre-cooling a warm box to 0°C takes 30 to 45 minutes, which is done before the van leaves us, not on your time.
Can I inspect the van and the refrigeration unit before hiring?
Yes, and we encourage it on monthly and long-term contracts. Book a slot and we will run the unit down to setpoint while you are there so you can see the pull-down curve and the temperature log on the IoT dashboard rather than take our word for it.
