Choose using the combined weight of goods, packaging and handling equipment, and confirm usable box dimensions rather than treating a tonnage label as a pallet count. A smaller truck can be easier to schedule where access or turning space is limited.

Plan warehouse-to-branch routes in Dubai

For runs from Al Quoz, Ras Al Khor, DIP or Jebel Ali, confirm each receiving slot before loading. Ask whether the destination uses a dock, forklift or tail lift; a tail lift must be requested and confirmed for the allocated truck. Share vehicle restrictions, unloading contacts and waiting arrangements so the driver can follow a workable route.

Match the refrigeration setting to the consignment

Chilled dairy, produce and frozen stock do not automatically share one suitable temperature. Send the required product range when requesting a truck, and confirm the selected unit can maintain it under the intended route conditions. Pre-cooled goods should enter a clean, pre-cooled box with room for circulating air. Record the loading and receiving readings.

Owner-confirmed monthly rates are AED 5,500 for the 3-ton truck, AED 7,000 for the 5-ton truck and AED 10,000 for the 10-ton truck. These are vehicle-class rates, not a guarantee that driver, fuel, Salik or overtime are included.
